Review: Refuge by NS Osborne

RefugeRefuge by N.G. Osborne
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Favourite location / setting ... The mansion Charlie lived in.

What I didn't like. All the land mines. It's so very sad.

Make a list of facts you learned from the story. Charlie was American aid worker. He taught men how to find land mines and deactivate them. Noor was Muslim. Her mother was murdered. Tariq was her brother, he worked for the Prince. He had promised Noor's hand in marriage to the prince. He killed his own father. Charlie saved Wali's life. He and Noor loved each other. Noor wanted a scholarship, so she could get away. Noor and her family lived in a refugee camp. They moved into the mansion with Charlie, to hide from her brother and the Prince. Charlie brought Wali home with him, after he got out of the hospital. Muslim people pray at least five times a day.
