Which characters do you particularly admire or dislike? I admire Ellie, because she really put herself out there. It was dangerous and she totally changed everything about herself to get the answers, she needed. I don't really dislike anyone. All good books need some villains.
Do you find the characters convincing? Each character is described well and believable.
How would the book have been different if it had taken place in a different time or place? Some of the events needed to take place in a very cold place. A tropical place, wouldn't have worked at all.
Make a list of facts you learned from the story The story took place in Fargo. Ellie and Tandy were sisters. Ellie was a chemist. There was a murder. Child was kidnapped.
