How realistic was the characterization? The characters were fairly realistic and their actions seemed plausible.
How does the setting figure into the book? This book really came to life for me. The characters were strong and the plot was fast-paced.
What was the climax of the book and why. The climax is when Leine finds Mara. The little girl hadn't been raped yet. This was a really nail-biting sequence.
