Malpractice! the novel by William Louis HarveyMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Lot of characters and subplot which tie together in the end amidst a difficult and challenging case. I enjoyed reading how the legal system works and I liked the author’s descriptive style of writing. In the end, it seemed that politics was the bigger game and the child was part of that cruel twist.
Given that there were two different “opinions” this is not one of those books that ends happily ever after. Some readers may see the emotional side of the story but in the end both sides have a job to do which is a realistic look at how things are in the real world.
Intelligently written with more than one intense scene that had me at the edge of my seat.
